Near Rio Blanco. An ambitious project with nearly 9 km of trench and two suspension bridges, it was postponed two years because of its difficulty. The annually increasing high water mark of the river (which swept away one of the bridges in a flood) clearly demonstrates the need to control watershed erosion in the region.
